this question has stumped me 4 quite a while so i decided to get everyone else's opinion

what do you reckon is more important? a gaming keyboard or a gaming mouse (both are good 4 gaming but ones better then the other by an edge)

for example:

razer mamba+logitech g510
               or
razer deathadder+logitech g19

so yea what do you reckon the setup should be? (sorry if u dont understand...i fail at explaining -____-")

 I don't like Logitech mice, I use a Microsoft X8 Sidewinder never had a problem with it, the buttons are in the best place.

I used a razer keyboard, the mechanical one. I would never use any other keyboard besides this one.

the mouse will make the difference - im still using my bog stock microsoft keyboard. Ive used gaming keyboards and guess what, theres no difference. the mouse on the other hand will make a huge impact. going from a basic mouse at like but &$%# all DPI to 5500 DPI you willl no the difference. but theres no point having a true laser mouse with out a good mouse pad. just go JBHiFi mate and pick up a nice sized Razer one, ya wont regret it.

yea tonky i saw a lotta opinions like yours, opti the blackwidow was one of the keyboards i had in mind and yeah,met logitech g-series owns at gaming:)

OK!!!! ive decided on my peripherals *rolling drums* logitech g510+razor mamba...stuff the g19 overpriced ^^ ill spend the remaining on a mouse pad and some kfc...

both mouse = keyboard important... but, g19 very good.. recomend it now(before they stop makeing them.. get better mouse later when you save up..

why keyboard?

1  use keys when playing games(with mouse)

2 lights up.. see in dim lighting

3 macros + alt tab lock+ etc..

4 usb hub

5 lcd colour (hardware monitoring)...

6.  been using it for a year now  very reliable...

the lcd good.. esp the 4 core use+ memory free app...you can tell when games are using full cpu use+ free ram left..

colour light up keys good + macro exc... comes with 2x usb 2.0 powered ports..


so

recommend keyboard first... mouse 2nd(save up)  - just get cheap one now....


p.s they have a newer keyboard  but lcd monocromo.......keyboard not a s good.

(ps  highly recommend keyboard g19...) (g9x good mouse as well)

but the g510 has all the things the g19 bsides the usb ports and the 320x240 colour lcd, plus the g510 has more macro keys

lcd not colour.screen mono (single lcd tst/gr). bad apps..  im on tspeak.. jump on.

newer model keyboard is not as good(friend has one)  + iv play on his pc for a hour + same mombo mouse...(its good mouse but i pref g9x.




i did the research(when to shop when 510 came out) played with it.. picked g19(much happier)

the 510 was made to be cheaper(when it came out) compared to g19.. lcd screen was expensive...

why crappy screen...


g19 was mega dollars.. buts cheap now...g510  cheap replacement  compared to g19..(minor improvements in design+ keyboard) backwards step in lcd

Mice are more important. Mamba FTW. As for keyboards they are all the same unless you fork out the cash for a mechanical. I have a Filco Majestouch and I must say I can't stand using any other keyboard anymore as this one is just that much better, Mouse first then when you get more dough fork out for a mechanical keyboard as they are the greatest things ever.
